About me

I'm Azy, and I'm glad you're here. I'm a BACP-registered counsellor based in Harrow and Hertfordshire. Whatever has brought you to this page, I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for individuals, couples, families and children—and I adapt to you and your needs.

I'm a qualified counsellor, having graduated from Middlesex University, London. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework so you can be confident in the standards I follow.

I hold the BACP Certificate of Proficiency, have regular professional supervision, and an enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) certificate.

My experience includes work in mental health settings, bereavement services, domestic violence agencies, drug and alcohol services, and with children in schools. I've worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, and with a wide range of concerns—so whatever you're bringing, you're not alone in this.

I believe the relationship between us is what makes therapy work. I'll work alongside you, at your pace, and I take confidentiality and your trust very seriously.

I offer counselling in English and Farsi (فارسی). If you'd feel more comfortable working in Farsi, we can do that from the very first conversation—just let me know.
